  2. Thank God - a post without religion.

Sunny - your phrase “The people are stuck between an autocratic King on one side and the brutal Maoist rebels on the other. ”

Now this is what I call “Fractal Politics” - it’s everywhere, at every level. Nomatter how close up you get , its the same.

Now at this very moment on the other side of the world President George W(who would like to be King George W) is meeting President Hu (who is an ex Moaist but is still brutal) to offer his surrender in the Cold War. President Hu junked his Moaist ideology and stole the policies of the Right and won the war. Whoa - that sounds to familiar ;-)

However on a serious note I hope the Nepali people get democracy soon, before the Moaists win and lets hope the King sees sense. India has to play this very carefully as Nepal, and Burma, are two countries that India will have to nuture and help develope for many years to come. Lets hope Burma is soon free too.

  3. Yeah, I hope that about Burma too, but I’m not too hopeful on that front to be honest.
And hey, we’ve done plenty of posts without religion! :P
