Overdue thanks to some people

Posted By Sunny On 5th December, 2005 @ 12:04 am In Uncategorized | Comments Disabled

No blog and news roundup this weekend I’m afraid due to lack of time, but it is about time we said thank you to a few blogs and commentators for plugging and generally bigging us up since we launched three months ago.

1) I’ll start with a quick thanks to Garry Smith, aka Curious Hamster, at [1] BSSC, a top British blogger who is always worth a read. [2] Nosemonkey, another political heavyweight of the British blogosphere needs to be bigged up, as do the constantly debating peeps at [3] The Sharpener, and [4] PD Berger, who (despite being in NY) does his best to stay on top of British news.

2) Thanks also to [5] Neha Viswanathan, who regularly plugs us on [6] Global Voices and [7] DesiPundit (the 800-pound gorilla of South Asia).

3) Other fellow Britons who have excellent blogs and deserve mentions: [8] Scribbles, [9] Wardytron, [10] Siddhartha, [11] Sonia, [12] Natalie Bennett, [13] Mr Jarndyce, [14] Laban Tall and the lovable [15] Mad Munky.

4) Not forgetting [16] Brett Lock, who has gone a bit AWOL of late, [17] j0nz - who I sometimes don’t agree with but is still amusing, and [18] BertramOnline.

5) Outside the British isles, [19] Sakshi Juneja deserves a big hello and so does [20] Arzan and [21] Rickshaw Diaries.

I think that covers it all for now. If I haven’t said hello then its either because you have already been plugged, are already linked, I forgot, or you don’t deserve it! Hah!

Update: I knew I’d forget some people :(
Thanks also due to El Cid on [22] zones2and3.com (and for his comments on here), to the hardcore liberals at [23] Apollo project, and to [24] Dr Feelgood Steve

The Apollo Project has also plugged your site. OK I know we don´t deserve a plug back, but I thought I’d mention it!

“Political heavyweight”? Moi? If only I had the salary to go with it…

Good work with this place though, old boy - you wouldn’t be getting the links if you weren’t doing something readable and worthwhile. The internet’s a meritocracy - especially if you get your baps out.

pleasure was all mine, everyone.

EiNY - I have one actually. If you’re looking for a theme that you can customise heavily without having to spend ages on CSS, then check out the bionicjive theme.

Some excellent blogs linked up there.

Thanks to Patrix as well as Neha VISWANATHAN as I think he’s linked to us even more on DesiPundit. But of course Neha has linked to us on GVO (and she’s a Londoner, so infinitely cooler). I’m sure those sites bring us lots of traffic, they’re houwge.

Whoops, sorry Neha, all sorted now. Yeah I mustn’t forget PAtrix who has himself, with that boundless enthusiasm, made Desipundit into a real powerhouse in the Indian blogosphere.

A big thank you dear Sunny,
You’re a big fluffy bunny,
That you got my name wrong I don’t care,
‘Cause this blog’s a breath of fresh air.

#16 Comment By Sunny On 6th December, 2005 @ 1:30 pm

I don’t know why I keep making spelling mistakes :(

(spot the deliberate mistake)!
