  • Hilarious - FBI agent tries entrapment, gets reported

The news report is self explanatory. What’s funny is that he tried entrapment, clearly failed, and is now suing the FBI!

I can’t decide whether the agent or his FBI handlers were responsible for the most hilarious incompetence.

I’m sure we can expect America’s extreme rightwingers to soon begin congratulating the mosque authorities for behaving in a responsible and patriotic manner.

If he sues the FBI it would be worth it just for the publicity alone. FBI dropped him after their mission to entrap muslims failed. This kind of entrapment behavior from government authorities is a disgrace.

the fallout of this case will and already has led to muslims refusing to co-operate with organisations like the fbi.

Funny yes. But let’s not get carried away. So an over-zealous idiot crosses the fine line from intelligence gathering into entrapment and embarrasses the FBI.

I want my security services to spy on all anti-democratic, anti-liberal fascists, whether they are the SWP, the BNP or HuT.

It helps me sleep at night.

This embarrassment doesn’t negate the fact that throughout Britain and the West, in far too many Mosques, student Islamic societies and other Islamic organisations, Islamic extremists do gather all too frequently to spout their anti-Western hatred. It’s good to know that someone is listening and recording.

Programmes such as Undercover Mosque have caught this on film and similar TV exposés throughout Europe have shown similar results.

Sadly, our politicians don’t currently have the balls or the integrity to act on the intelligence being accumulated, but one day all this amassed information is bound to come in handy when the extent of Islamism in our societies is finally acknowledged and addressed properly.

I am glad there are hundreds of mosques in britian and it irritates reza.

I don’t completely disagree with you RezaV. But my personal experience is that the most harmful ideologies aren’t being spread in British mosques anymore. The nutters generally find such places far too public and have gone underground. Which is both a good and bad thing…

However, I’m prepared to stand corrected - it could be the case that the limited range of mosques I have contact with happen to be more enlightened than usual.
I can’t make much informed comment about madrasas as I’ve never been in one.
