They are there, and while thankfully a small minority, that kind of person isn’t going to disappear anytime soon. So should they be challenged everytime they show their faces with the ”Nazi scum off our streets” kind of opposition? And have UAF and AFA type people and Asian lads squaring up to them?
I’m just comparing it to what happens in Northern Ireland when marchers from a background like that guy at the beginning of the clip here, parade through places like majority Catholic, Nationalist Derry’s city center.
There the police allow the march and keep local hoodies and lads who might want to have a dig at the march well away and behind screens.

I still have this feeling that there is too much notice and and attention paid to the EDL.
As if it’s just their presence that can set ”us” off and get us wound up to the point of getting emotional.
every society will have its racist elements, no point pretending otherwise.
one thingthat does need to happen, again and again, is to expose these people for what they are. too many people give thme an easy ride because they claim to be only opposed to radical islam.
that includes writers for mainstream magazines like louis amis at standpoint.

My thoughts exactly, Dalbir.
It’s because, like all bullies, they’re actually cowards, and they don’t have the guts to put their necks on the line by confronting the real Islamists over in Afghanistan. They find it much easier to attempt to terrorise and intimidate unarmed civilian populations in locations here in the UK which the British intelligence services themselves have confirmed have practically zero support for Islamist extremism.
