We don’t get CBB in Aus – but I assume it’s the same deal as the local BB – viewers vote the Housemates out – if the Lumpens get voted out because of their behaviour towards Shilpa would that not actually be something heartening about the whole debacle?

I too have read Jai’s first-rate post on SM.

I empathised when he described that awful feeling one gets in the pit of ones stomach. That here we go again feeling. It’s at the heart of why I comment here. It’s the reason I keep trying to overcome the small differences we have, as I feel it’s so important that we find a concensus amongst ourselves to defend ourselves against what has previously only bubbled beneath the service, but came unpleasantly to the surface i n the Big Brother house.

I am however, somewhat cheered by how many ‘indiginous’ people felt strongly enough about this to make official complaints.
