I’ll be studying over xmas – trying to do my CCNA early next year… spending a few nights at parents house and that’s about as glam as it gets.

Do what I always do at Christmas. By a load of wild bird food and on Christmas and boxing day go out into the nearby fields and feed the birds. It’s a good distraction.

I say this because all of LA is not West LA’ish, as most people imagine. I was just down there in the aforementioned parts yesterday. If you want, you can even meet with the Desi folks that man the bazaar stalls in these districts. No manicured lawns here, I’m afraid.

Damn, I’ve got a whole list of places that I need to go see. Egypt, Iran, and Samarkand (Baghdad used to be on the list, seeing that it was a gorgeous city architecturally, historically, and what not. It goes without saying that I’ll just have to put that spot off my itenirary for the time being).

Middle East….such a huge, vast region! I’d recommend Morocco definately; Jordan also. Istanbul is a GORGEOUS city, I loved it. I would like to one day make it to Yemen and Oman.

1. eat really good, if fattening, Punjabi food. Also, loads of mithai to satifsy my very sweet Guju tooth.
2. Drink and shoot the shit with the Uncles.
3. Maybe a trip to the mandhir and gurdwara
4. rest until my big move to SF and the new job.
5. Meet up and spend time with friends and other loved ones.
6. Keep writing.

I didn’t say for Sunny to bring it on his carry on luggage!

But now the winds have lapsed; we are all living well here in LA.

Technically the beach lies in the twin municiplaities of Alibag and Murud, so in a way you are coming down to my hometown! I cant actually believe somebody FROM PP is actually coming down here, too bad i wont be here then! … have fun auntieji

Kashid beach

As for the kashid beach, its a gr8 place. I like to got out threre in the middle of the night! Though on weekends ts a tourist trap… darn Mumbaikars!
