Terror level in UK raised to ‘severe’
The threat to the UK from international terrorism was tonight raised from substantial to severe – meaning an attack is “highly likely”.
Home secretary Alan Johnson said although the threat had increased, there was no intelligence to suggest an attack was imminent.
He said: “The Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre has today raised the threat to the UK from international terrorism from substantial to severe.

I think the key words here (particularly with respect to Mr Johnson) are “no intelligence”
Maybe Roche Pharmaceutical has a factory load or Terraflu they want the world to buy…

The govt just suspended flights to Yemen too, so perhaps there’s some kind of suggestive chatter the spooks have “analysed”. Nothing “imminent” doesn’t mean nothing worrying but undefinable. Or something they’re simply not prepared to tell us – they probably go by how grown-up the red tops are & who could call them socially responsible?
Someone probably farted aggressively in Yemen and MI5 got wind of it……. and then made up a story about it being some sort of chemical warfare technique that threatens innocent white babies and the future of western ‘civilisation’.
