I wonder – do muslims even bother to do some efforts to not look like racists or extemists? seems like they don’t care… looks like they think that it’s the lefties’ work to protect their reputation and convince people that they are not extremists or infidels haters

There’s a difference between not interfering with people’s right to say what they like (as long as it’s lawful) and actually inviting people to speak at your organisation. To host someone in this way implies that you find their ideas acceptable – unless you make it very clear that this is not the case.
