But the fact is that some races are hardworking and capable of coherent thinking while others are not. You tell me why has all the scientific development of last 500 years happened only in the West. Why hasn’t Africa or much of Asia contributed almost nothing at all to the progress that human beings have made in the last five centuries. The reason is simple. You may call me rasicst but I think that the White people are racially superior to the black Africans and the brown Asians.

If just being in country makes you the owner of the country then the Palestianians who are not in Israel should stop crying, get over it, and leave Isreal alone.

Other studies looking at inheritance of mitochondrial DNA markers passed down the female line do indeed show ancient maternal roots for many English people, going back as far as Neolothic times. Try Professor Bryan Sykes’s pop science book ‘The Seven Daughters of Eve’ if you want to find out more about this – although you probably don’t now.

With your own good grasp of history, you will surely be able to infer why English matrilines generally go back further than patrilines.

The answer is pretty much in your question: a mixed-race person could be said to be indigenous on one side of their family.

You might then ask, how many generations of successive intermarriage with people from the indigenous population would it take before children of those unions could be regarded as somehow ‘properly indigenous’? The answer could only ever be a matter of opinion, rather than of fact.

Your example of a mixed-race person shows that the categories of indigenous and non-indigenous have fuzzy boundaries, just as with categories of class, race, even age group. People argue over when youth ends and adulthood begins. Even the law isn’t sure on the point, as you can successively able take on different responsibilities at the ages of 16, 18, 21 and 24.

But there are still youths and adults, just as there indigenous and non-indigenous people.

Are you seriously proposing that ‘most’ English people can trace paternal ancestry further back than Alfred the Great, and the maternal line further? Presumably to Arthurian times? Or pre-Roman?

Currently, the BNP serve as amuseument. No other nutters, except Muslim extremists, are daft enough to spout such narrow views and ideas. You ought to give the people of Britain (especially us “indigenous” people), a bit more credit than you like to give them Harry for having sanity and intelligence.

Everytime, and I mean EVERYtime, I read or hear that word used in relation to England and white English people I fall about laughing. There is no indigenous people, this country has been multicultural, multi-ethnic for well over a 1000 years!
