    Twitter is down…

by Sunny on 6th August, 2009 at 4:53 pm

How annoying is that eh? I didn’t actually do much work on Twitter but watching the chatter go by on tweetdeck just makes you feel connected.

    Now I’m all alone :(

Terrible, and I didn’t even use it 6 months ago. I wanted to write an article saying that instead of running a campaign to ’save the observer newspaper’ perhaps people should just run a campaign to buy it? But getting lefties to think through their wallets? Foggedaboutit.
There’s a denial of service attack going on.

      It’s THEM that did it.

    2. Sunny — on 6th August, 2009 at 5:25 pm

No way?! They did it?? Bastards man. BASTARDSSSS!

    3. Sunny — on 6th August, 2009 at 5:27 pm

C’mon, I was at least expecting some people to cuss me for declaring that twitter is down. Can’t even attract ridicule these days.

I reckon productivity actually went up today in offices across Britain…

We would cuss you, but we all have liberal twitter guilt.

    6. Sunny — on 6th August, 2009 at 6:39 pm

      hehe.

I think it’s back up now.

You’re lucky you’re not white Naadir - then you’d have to deal with white liberal twitter guilt too. That’s the ultimate crime these days man.

    7. Sunny — on 6th August, 2009 at 6:40 pm

Or perhaps brown liberal guilt is even more pernicious.

It went down two minutes after I installed Tweetdeck on my new toy.

      Lemme do the honours!

      It’s YOUR fault councillor!

      Brown’s Britain.

The problem with the Observer is just that it is poor. The endless supplements spoke to a view of quantity over quality. It dumbed down, like the Guardian, a trend accelerated by going tabloid (or whatever euphemism they use).

It’s a sad decline, but fewer newspapers would be a good thing. It’s just a shame that it’s the Observer rather than that monument to media dumbing down, the Independent.

Off to the NYT website I think.

      Oh, and what’s Twitter?

*coughs* Loserrrrr. And totally untrue. Sunny Hundal is SUNNY HUNDAL. SUNNY HUNDAL is never alone. As this post demonstrates…

Yeah and I’m gonna tweet again in a few minutes, so get ready to lose it for another three hours :-)
