The meetup will be somewhere in London. We are planning to do it on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of September. Do people have a preference for either day? Everyone is welcome.

Auch, that’s the weekend of the Braemar Gathering and I get to see the Queen. So may I give my apologies.

  5. Leon — on 30th July, 2009 at 5:03 pm

Yeah I really can’t see Munir wanting to be there…might be fun if David T comes and Sunny and him can do a Newsnight style debate with me playing Jeremy Paxman. :D

Woo. Both days are fine for me.

Could be interesting… Having spent years reading PP could be a bit of a shock I think putting names to faces and seeing the human side…!

  16. Leon — on 31st July, 2009 at 10:30 am

Not at all, in fact it’s makes things even cooler when you meet the people and find they are are in fact very nice in person (even me!). :)

  17. Leon — on 31st July, 2009 at 10:31 am

    I’m not.

  19. marvin — on 31st July, 2009 at 1:23 pm

Haha yes I’m sure people are way nicer and cooler in real life than may appear on interwebs commentary!

I take it beer will not be far from hand? :P

  20. Kismet Hardy — on 31st July, 2009 at 4:15 pm

Place your artificial sweetener and fuel orders here

(sorry Sunny. But I’ll be there. Blame Leon)

  21. Sunny — on 31st July, 2009 at 5:16 pm

Beer is always plentiful in London. It’s never far from my hand!

    Kismet – damnnnn youuuuuuu!

  22. Amrit — on 31st July, 2009 at 8:30 pm

    Sofia -

Abandon your fears, as I have said somewhere before, the PP bunch are an annoyingly photogenic lot.

Ben – don’t lie. Anyone who listens to me for over 5 minutes without running away is ‘very nice’ as far as I’m concerned. ;-)

  23. subrosa — on 31st July, 2009 at 10:01 pm

I was being rather facetious about meeting the Queen – honestly I don’t! But I do see her wave when she arrives for her 20 minute slot. Actually I admire her as the years go by because she continues to attend.

My meaning was that living in Scotland it is so difficult meeting up with good bloggers because most seem based in the south of England.

  24. Nesrine — on 31st July, 2009 at 10:41 pm

    Booooo, it’s Ramadan then.

  25. Faisal (The Spittoon) — on 2nd August, 2009 at 10:05 am

Is Kulvinder coming? I’d like to meet him.

  26. Rumbold — on 2nd August, 2009 at 11:32 am

You will have to stay off the booze then Nesrine.

  27. Amrit — on 2nd August, 2009 at 3:46 pm

Lol, she won’t be the only one. Let’s hope it doesn’t rain and lead to everyone wanting to drown their sorrows!

subrosa – I think we ought to have a meet-up in a totally random location at some point. :-D I doubt It’ll happen, though.
