It’s a complicated subject and one I don’t think we should discuss on this thread (particularly as it’s completely off-topic and will result in the thread rapidly becoming wrecked if others join in), but there is actually quite a lot of genetic, archeological and linguistic evidence, along with considerable similarities in the religious beliefs/practices and societal structures of the various groups descended from Proto-Indo-Europeans.

You’d be surprised to find that Aryan invasion/migration theory isn’t as solid as it sounds. There is very scant DNA, archeological or written evidence for any of the theories propounded for origins of Vedic culture. You should check out the excellent books on this subject by Edwin Bryant, The Quest for the Origins of Vedic Culture: The Indo-Aryan Migration Debate and the Indo-Aryan controversey.

My neighbours at my last house were Jews from Phoona, and they spoke Hindi at home (and in the corner shop, the Post Office, the greengrocer…).

When their daughter got married it was an amalgam of three cultures, and one of the nicest weddings I’ve ever been to.

And very Bollywood.
