I've just penned a lighthearted item on my blog entitled "It's fitting Blair should support Newcastle".
It's got PP potential but if not, check it out here. I hope it amuses.

El Cid
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Compulsory homosexuality... they already have that in Saudi Arabia!

As for Blair, I just wish he'd effing go!

All political careers end in tears my friend. It's an axiom. (Unless, of course, you get shot like JFK - it then produces the 'Kurt Cobain effect')

Talk about people entering politics with high ideals and clinging on to power until the very last mo, putting personal interests before those of a wider cause.

You can apply that sentence to many of the word's leaders today. Sad huh?

a short story about Politics :

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is Politics?" Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way:

I am the head of the family, so call me The President. Your mother is the administrator of the money, so we call her the Government. We are here to take care of your needs, so we will call you the People. The nanny, we will consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we will call him the Future. Now think about that and see if it makes sense."

So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what Dad has said.

Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parent's room and finds his mother asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed.

The next morning, the little boy say's to his father, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now. " The father says, "Good, son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about."

The little boy replies, "The President is screwing the Working Class while the Government is sound asleep. The People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit."

Yvonne Ridley, showing her softer side...

I FEEL very uncomfortable about the pop culture which is growing around some so-called Nasheed artists. Of course I use the term ‘Nasheed artists' very lightly. Islamic ‘boy bands' and Muslim ‘popsters' would probably be more appropriate.

Here, here Yvonne! Absolutely disgraceful, isn't it!

Blair is a political genius – he waited until the aftermath of these disastrous council elections to announce the inevitable: a cabinet re-shuffle.

The timing couldn't be more calculated. It steals the headlines away from the Tories’ crushing gains. And what we’re hearing instead is how ‘ruthless’ and ‘cut-throat’ Blair has become. It was Friedrich Nietzsche, I believe, who referred to this process it as creative destruction.

New faces. Ruthless Blair. Sulky Charles Clark. BNP scaremongering

Blair’s ‘great escape’

Rather than Labour politicians "panicking" about the prospect of the BNP picking up council seats in Barking, they should have just stood aside and "allowed" the BNP to take control of the entire council.

Barking is hardly an economic powerhouse - so it would not matter too much to UK PLC if the BNP were to mess things up there.

The rest of the country could then have had a good laugh at their expense !

Yvonne Ridley stood for 5 council seats, and won all 5. She got kidnapped by voters in Bethnal Green&Bow to begin with - and after she escaped, she converted to a seat in Tower Hamlets. After a brief spell of election fraud, however, she denounced this as evidence of 'Western imperialism' and moved on to Epping.

Epping, unfortuntely, was full of Zionists - so she moved on to another seat in Wales. Realizing that there were no council elections in Wales, however, Ridley cut her losses and overthrew the regime in Cardiff. She's now imposed Sharia law on Blanau Gwent.

I think labours come out of this a tad better then expected..not because of their fine show otherwise but realistically the oppositions performance was lacklustre..4th party groups have done the best and the tories have done respectfully well. Btw what happened to Ms Ridleys election?

Sonia,
One of my closest friends is a Shia exile. Seven years ago, his dear mother (god rest her soul) was tortured and then murdered by the Republican guard. They hung her from a wall with meathooks, strapped her legs with cables, beat her continuously like a rag-doll, deprived her of food and water, raped her in the vagina and anus, pierced her skin (underneath the fingernails) with sharp vines, and (horrifyingly) used razor blades to mess about with her genitalia.

The idea that there was a peaceful ‘status quo’ in Iraq before the invasion is so preposterous that I’m going to tell you to ‘fuck off’.

Amir
I have to agree with Ravi. The bloated dipsomaniac you recommend for Foreign Policy has nothing new to say. He's simply re-hashing intellectual disagreements that we're played out in the West from 3 years ago prior to the war as opposed to offering anything new about what is to be done in Iraq for Iraqis.

She told John Kampfner…
‘reee he he heeee!! [in a cackly witch-like laugh], that Sunny Hundal is not going to win any prizes. He seduces our Moslem sisters into his decadent BMW 5-series, takes them for an un-Islamic ‘ride’, plays them infidel music from ‘Snoop Doggy Dog’, and seduces them with his salacious twinkling eyes’.
