wow, what a giant mess we are in! Maybe I am in denial, but I still refuse to believe the world is gonna end! I blame everyone, including myself, as should we all. Honestly I don't even know what recession means exactly ( well I do - but I don't) It's only either boom or bust ... when is the part we all just sit back and enjoy what we have built for a change? always more more more ...To me there are just too many people in the world right now... but they will even say we need to do more to not only maintain that population increase but look for ways to increase - even that somehow? usually through rewards. Reading "every choice of lifestyle" made me think of the Dutch ....
http://tinyurl.com/akw7gv
Though I'm sure they will be and are effected, through our actions.
I don't think any party's policy to subsidise married couples for any reason is a good idea. First religions used marriage to morally enslave people ... now governments will some how make it a national responsibility? Oh well, I guess everything is business today, countries, banks, health, education, why not include marriage? and NO I am not against commitment, I'm all for it, and wish there was more talk of what that would take ... forgive me if I start coming off as some wacky radical, but another thing that needs to be put out there is how the different generations see things, where they got those views and what role they played in this mess.
I'm actually not liking Cameron anymore....but thats a new topic ...

I do have to laugh at people going on and on about this crisis and our impending doom ... they blame everything on the economy now .... even silly things. A co-worker and I are drawing up a conspiracy theory against Disney Land and how they caused the recession ... I wonder how many people would fall for it... more than a few I bet.

I hope Tim didn't actually use the word promiscuous, otherwise he'd be in for a right bashing. I would click on the link and check, but then again, I wouldn't.

Uhm... nice headline, it certainly caught my attention as tabloid headlines usually do. But couple cohabitation, specially in cases where a couple buys a house together, is not considered promiscuity. The latter refers to individuals who have multiple partners, not those who attempt monogamy without getting married.

First Blacks (I believe it's now thought right and proper to capitalise it..):now where did you get that from? Oh, of course, you're just constructing a strawman to knock down. Well argued, Sunny!

What I fail to see is why you just carp and criticise and ridicule, instead of engaging with and examining other people's arguments. Not just in this case but generally. Or are you so 100% sure of your own views? It would seem so.
