I agree to an extent with Raj…but i suppose it depends on whether the person is within the realms of politics and has commented on the matter in the past…contacting ppl like mark ronson simply because he is of jewish heritage for example is dumb…

I mean it’s the most sensible suggestion I’ve come across in a lot of forums. By contacting media personalities known to be jewish, if you can get them to vocally support the cause of the Palestinian people against this butchering then it adds even more Pressure to Israel.

You know I’m tired of this weird accusation that if you somehow don’t vocally and activelly oppose EVERY single injustice the world nothing you do has value or principle.
It comes from people who, as far as I can see, have no real experience of political activism, the realities of campaign work and no consideration of the fact that we’re not all super humans with 100 hours a day to spare.
It’s easy to sit a computer writing this nonsense but it does little than make a mockery of the sheer hard work and commitment people who are getting off their backsides undertake.
I think Muslims would tend to avoid the name ‘abu islam’, unless their parents inflicted it on them. Its very arrogant.

Baraka – Why write to Muslims when the problem is closer to home.
Somalia – The Islamic Courts bought peace and commerce to Somalia until the Ethiopians invaded. They don’t have money for food but can afford to do America’s bidding.

Dafur – Are Muslim countries not allowed to stop rebellions? Simply because the region has some Christians in it you guys want to make a big deal out of it. Yeah bad things have happened, but the Chinese have found no evidence of massacre.

As a campaigning tool, its a positive thing to write to Alan Sugar or anyone else who you feel might have some influence. That is a democratic thing to do.
