And the ‘dhimmi of the year’ award goes to….
Richard Bartholomew, of Bartholomew’s Notes on Religion. Richard, who performs a sterling service tracking religious extremists of various stripes, has angered the website Mosquewatch (I think that the name tells you all you need to know about the site) with his criticisms of them. Mosquewatch’s nature can be gauged by the fact that one of its contributors writes under the name ‘IslamPlague’, while their most recently closed poll found that 59% of respondents (282 out of 475) wanted Muslims to pay a special tax “to keep us safe from Islamic terror.” What particularly riled the Islamophobes on Mosquewatch was Richard’s criticism of Pastor Swank, who writes for the site. Mosquewatch argued that:
“Pastor Swank is a good and decent man. I find it interesting that you would rather defame a Pastor, and not defame the jihadist scum that would slit your throat while screaming “Allahu Ackbarâ€.”
Pastor J. Grant Swank, Jr said in October that:
“President George W. Bush did two terrible acts in the last several years. First, he placed the Koran in the White House library with great aplomb. It was at a Ramadan dinner for Muslim men in one room and Muslim women in another room, he overseeing the men and Laura overseeing the women. That Koran should have never been placed in the White House. A curse has settled upon that domain…
Christians who are truly genuine Bible disciples have been betrayed by Bush who claimed to be “one of us.†In that betrayal he gave ground to paving the way for the mask Muslim B.. Hussein [i.e. Obama] and entourage to enter the White House powers.”
Once again, well done Richard.

Cheers. I also now see that he’s an American BNP supporter, although of course he whinges at the idea that puts him beyond the pale of reasonable discourse.
Thanks for this
Pastor Swank actually called for the death of 10 million Muslims
This is typical of his fare
Europe is Sick of Muslims-OUT!

But only Muslims have a problem with extremism
This is freedom of speech
haha mosquewatch would be funny if it wasn’t so serious.
I wonder what Melanie Phillips thinks of them…
Bartholomew:
As Zak says, it would be a funny site if it wasn’t serious.
What she thinks of them? I’m surprised she doesn’t write for them. Anyone catch her lame and so-racist-its-embarrassing diatribes against the “Marxist” Obama? Bizarre.
To be honest, I am actually quite surprised and impressed that 193 people in a ‘mosquewatch’ survey were not in favour of the additional tax proposal.
Anyone catch her lame and so-racist-its-embarrassing diatribes against the “Marxist†Obama?
Catch them? They were a great source of amusement!

‘Mosquewatch’? Why don’t they watch the mosque where I live? It’s really exciting. People come in and say their prayers, once a week this guy with a beard gives a sermon on how to be a nice person, some other people give donations to the poor, a committee of old men with beards have long meetings where they drink tea and whinge about the paltry state of the building maintenance fund…. I could go on! It’s all so entertaining. Watch us Mosquewatch, watch us! Pleeeeease!!!
Ha ha ha.
