      Merry Chiss-met.

They are all chaps, actually. “Chaps” is not gender-specific.
Or should it be: “Chaps” are not gender-specific?

      Roger:

Are you sure? Perhaps I should have put lady wombles.

      hey lighten up its christmas!

(rumbold - better give up here as some ‘ladies’ prefer to be called women as it frees them of the shackles of the ideology behind being a laydee - all this gender stuff is a minefield)

      Best wishes to all

      Persephone:

I was being tongue-in-cheek. ‘Wombles’ is gender neutral, so can be used for all Wimbledon Common residents.

^^”Oye vey”, as JC might have wearily never said.

Merry Christmas everyone. Watch out for mistletoe-bearing bandits sneaking up on you.
