    More media nonsense about Asians

by Sunny on 11th December, 2008 at 5:51 pm

So a riot broke out between inmates at Aylesbury young offenders jail, and the police were brought in. Now an investigation is being launched.

There’s no information about the racial makeup of inmates or rioters, but because it was during Eid celebration (which may have been taking place separately), various newspapers have dubbed it an ‘Asian riot’. That’s what you call a smart press eh? But The Scum newspaper gets top prize for headlining it: ‘Prison cops in five-hour Muslim riot‘, without much evidence on the assertions.

I am getting increasingly depressed with the standards of the Telegraph, as they publish rubbish like this, while sacking some of their best writers (like Sam Leith). Soon only Byrony Gordon will be left- the Paris Hilton of the broadsheet world.

lol…. acording to the sun the prisoners were celebrating the end of Ramadan….

Well this is obviously racist scaremongering by the scum eh!

The well known neo nazi Bucks Herald says

According to Brian Traynor, national official for the POA, prison service staff suffered psychological trauma as a result of the disturbance; it is alleged some staff had to fight prisoners who had managed to arm themselves with knives and hammers.

Mr Traynor said it appeared that two Muslim inmates used the fight to act as a diversion while fellow inmates seized the opportunity to overwhelm prison officers and take control of the mosque and a further area they were using during the Eid celebrations.

Mr Traynor said there were no suggestions that the prison staff had mistreated any Muslim prisoners during their Eid celebrations, which could have sparked the violent outbreak…

What on earth do the Sun (sorry, the scum!) think they are getting off reporting it as a Muslim riot?!!111!!!

I’m sure it was an equal opportunities riot, with a diverse make up reflecting society at large. It’s coincidence that it was sparked of by two ‘Muslim’ inmates in the mosque at the end of Eid in place for an ambush. Don’t people realise that there were other religions and races involved most probably?!!11! People just join in, it’s a prison!!?11!! I cant belive scum press mentions these details… :P

    4. marvin — on 14th December, 2008 at 11:54 am

Meanwhile, leader of the Labour party says 75% of the most serious terror plots have links to Pakistan!!! It’s an all out attack on asians, just for having brown skin, it seems to me!!! :)

I wish the left would stop attacking anything where FACTS are mentioned which inconveniently are fodder for the BNP. If something is fuel for racists should we deny or obfusicate? I am sorry but that’s the impression I get from the left. Facts that don’t fit are thrown out as racist or reactionary. That’s if they are discussed at all.

Sunny nothing personal to you, I do actually agree with a lot of your thinking, I just can’t stop myself when I see, what appears to me, is knee-jerk attacking of anything right-of-centre as scum.

Easily, hundreds of thousands of asian and black read the Sun. I see them every day. How do you describe them? Do you see my point? Is it that they know not what they do?

    5. The Queen of Fiddlesticks — on 14th December, 2008 at 5:37 pm

I’m sorry but Marvin is right, this post was indeed a knee jerk and uninformed reaction (in this case at least)
I think it is time people ease up on the defensive side and start working together.

What on earth do the Sun (sorry, the scum!) think they are getting off reporting it as a Muslim riot?

Marvi, I don’t think you get it really. The point of mentioning a persons religion or race only becomes important if it had a specificaly extra impact on the crime.

So if a white male attacks a black male for racial reasons, then its worth pointing out their races. If on the other hand you don’t know why a white man bottled a black man - would you be ok if the headline says: ‘White Crime against Black man’??

Really, try engaging that brain sometimes, if you have one.

Ha, not quite Sunny Jim. :P

The Press Complaints Code of Practice states

“Details of an individuals race, colour, religion, sexual orientation, physical or mental illness or disability must be avoided unless genuinely relevant to the story

According to the national official for the POA two Muslim inmates started the riot inside the mosque during Eid celebrations. This has relevance, was it an ideological battle? Were they particularly religious? Why did they do it? Were they trying to get the security guards to over react in a place of worship? Or we they just oiks? We’d never know from reading the liberal-left aligned press!

If two white Christians had started a riot form inside the church on St Georges day would that be relevant for you Sunny? Would you question their ideology perhaps? They may just be oiks, but unless we’re aware of the details they’ll be no chance to know. Perhaps these two hypothetical white christians were trying to spark a race riot. But if the press never report it the public will never know.

So Marvin, what is the answer to these questions from the Sun article or, more pertinently, what conclusion did ** you ** come to out of your list of questions ?

Most likely a bunch of arseholes, who happen to be Muslim, abusing privileges and taking the opportunity to riot, than some Islamist plot.

    9. Mangles — on 15th December, 2008 at 11:01 am

Here we go again. Sunny you’re apologising for Muslims going on the rampage and asking the media to cover it up.

The media fed shambolic stories led people to believe that apparently it was ‘Asians’ in Birmingham and Leeds a few years ago when the riots took place in those cities. Take a reality check - it was not Asians - it was muslims and probably Pakistani Muslims. I’ve been told that in Leeds Sikh and Hindu businesses were actually targeted which means the rioting was hate led and racist in its nature.

The riots in Birmingham were of a similar nature and fuelled by racists of both Pakistani and African & Carribbean descent. They were not a free for all by all the local communities that make up the local area - I know many people who live there and it was particular communities that were at each others throats.

So now the press is being asked not to share the real facts in this prison riot- why? - so that the reality can be hidden?

If a cultural ideology propagates hatred through infidelism then that should be targeted, and this ideological cause of a neo-nazi type of hatred attacked ; not defended.

I don’t have all the facts of the riot in the prison and nor do you. Yet many of the reports point to a link to the Eid celebrations there. This provides a considered judgement that they were probably instigated by, led by or involved Muslim prisoners. Why is the media being asked to cover up this fact?

It was because the media didn’t want to report the facts in Afghanistan for so long that the ideology of the Taliban took such a foothold there, and it was the minority communities who bore the brunt of their xenophobic attitude to non-Muslims particularly Sikhs; and it was the despicable treatment of women that went hidden and unspoken of.

I though this was a left-wing blog, but its increasingly pandering to and apologising for a hate fueled extreme right wing ideology. Hows that for contradiction!

Tackle the concept of infidelism and you will tackle the whole idea of radicalisation that people like Tariq Ali and Sunny want to keep apologising for. It is this element of the islamic political masterplan which is leading to the hatred that is fueling incohesive communities on the streets of Britain, Europe and the rest of the world. It is this ideology which needs to be first capitulated not the brainwashed protaganists of hatred that espouse their hatred. By covering up he facts you are simply allowing this ideology to further grow undetected.

F*** these racists and their nazi-ideology.

Increasingly Islamaphobia is another means of structured apologist propaganda, which had good intentions but is no longer objective in dealing with the issues that fuel hatred and incohesive communities, as it fails to consider the hate fueled infidel teachings that are taking place in our midst, as revealed in many well documented documentaries including Dispatches.

      Rab rakha.
