  • Sunny elsewhere – Sky News and Green conference

    by Sunny
    4th September, 2008 at 9:11 pm

Just a note, I’ll be speaking at the Green Party conference this weekend, at their fringe event on blogging. Jim Jay has more details on that here. If you want to see what the Green party is up to or just know more about blogging, come down. Sunday, 6pm, SOAS Uni (central London), Room G3.

I’ve also agreed to do a regular-ish spot of commentating on Sky News, on Saturday mornings, which will cover hot topics in newspapers and online. It won’t be every weekend though. My first appearance is next Saturday morning (oh the pain of getting up early on a Saturday!) on the 13th. More soon.

Who’d so desperate as to support the Green Party?

Muhamad, Green Party ideas on ecology could save your arse one day…much more than any of the Mullahs could do for you or your children.

Well done on the Sky News gig mate, very well done indeed. Will be good to see another blogger on there other than the usual Iain Dale.

At last, I have a reason to watch Sky News! Haha.

Just seen Jai’s comment – LOL.

Well, it’s about damn time Sunny’s headboard finally saw some action, innit.

Just kidding, Sunny. Congratulations again, I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say I’m very proud of you.

Proud about the Sky News gig, I mean. I wasn’t referring to “headboards” again, which is just a way of preventing dents from being gradually drilled into the wall, unless Mr and Miss Randy are just gonna take turns looking at the ceiling.

      *ahem*

“much more than any of the Mullahs could do for you or your children.”
What the fuck’s mullahs gotta do with me or my children? Are making that stupid remark because of my name? FYI, I don’t have children, but I guess, you’ve got some stupid stereotypes of people with names like mine.

Yup and with Dave Hill getting a bump up to the Guardian with his London blog this is a great week for left blogger invasion of the msn! :D

Congrats on getting a spot on Sky News!
I’m sure you’ll provide something new and fresh..

What? An apparent absence of the usually reliable dogmatic ‘socialist’ commenters?

No splenetic outrage about Mr. Sunny taking the Murdoch coin?

No suggestions that they’re using him as a “Now we can claim we’re ‘fair & balanced’” tokenistic smokescreen?

Got to ask – where’ve they all gone?

      :-) )

      Muhamad,
Chill man…can’t you take a joke about your religion? The future of all our children depends on how well we look after the planet and the Green Party is atleast trying.

      They have all been banned.

This blog is now solely an exercise in massaging Sunny’s ego.
