If he can change his mind so quickly on so many major issues, then we are looking at an individual with no policies of his own, no moral stand on anything and someone who does not deserve to win.

With Obama, you just don’t know what you gonna get.

Of course you do... a man who panders to glory more than a Chelski fan.

Other top quality Divine wisdom courtesy of The Honorable James David Manning, PhD

"The Lord instructed me to write to you about your health.... He says
we should eat every day, at least one banana, one potato, and some
carrots, along with apples and onions"

Here's a theological conundrum, why is The Lord specific about bananas and potatos but not about carrots, apples and onions? What does this signify? How many carrots should we eat? Must the apples and onions always be eaten together? Looks like schism material to me.

The fairy tale comment of Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton's comment about needing a president was supposedly racist according to Senator Obama's campaign and they made it into a huge issue and thus in the process ensuring Hillary loses the huge support Clintons had in the black community. And Bill Clinton apparently was not a very successful President but suddenly now he is the most successful President in Obama's lifetime.

He was going to pull out troops out of Iraq immediately upon taking office which moved the moveon.org crowd and was a huge factor in winning the primaries. Now, he has turned against them

He is still of course against free trade but his rhetoric has calmed down a bit cos he just might win.

Even when GW bush was running he made some serious contributions to the debate by saying that you need Government to solve the ills when Newt and his crew were saying you didn't.

Go back 8 years before that Clinton as leader of the DLC did make some serious fundamental changes to the Democratic party which ensured a victory after a long time. What intellectual contribution except for soaring rhetoric has this bloke made? Can you name a few strong pragmatic policies which makes him different except for his rhetoric and media fan fare -- not many. Actually, I am yet to find one.

Is he a brilliant man? hell yeah. Is he a brilliant political operative -- oh yes -- but is he what he tries to portray -- no.

And Hermes is right -- with Bill Clinton you may haave had issues about his personal life but he could kick ass on any policy issues with any candidate -- he changed the way people perceived Democrats. And after attacking him and disparaging the most successful Democratic President since FDR, now he is the most successful US President in Obama's lifetime.

Oh how can you forget about the unconditional talks -- then it became not without preparation -- well now what I hear from the campaign is when things are right.

Oh but all those on the liberal left take him to be a messiah who will change the world for the better -- while those on the centre left (which I believe I am a part of) wonder hmmmmm.

And, if anyone thinks Wesley Clark went on air without clearence from the Obama Campaign they are living in a fools paradise -- the guy attacked McCain about his service in uniform. McCain does not even really use that in his campaign just like he does not talk about a son who is serving even now in Iraq.

So is this the change we are talking about he claims that he would bring...but what do I know. The messiah is here and he will change the world. Kinda like lets get rid of Blair and we would have Brown who would sort us out. That worked really well.

Obama is moving to the right very rapidly, probably because he thinks that is the way to get the votes of middle America. He has now even backtracked on his promise to withdraw from Iraq. Apparently he now also supports phone tapping, wants to cut corporate tax rates and has gone quiet on gun control. In other words...he will do everything (including selling his grandmother presumably) to win the election.

If he can change his mind so quickly on so many major issues, then we are looking at an individual with no policies of his own, no moral stand on anything and someone who does not deserve to win.

With Obama, you just don't know what you gonna get.

And Sunny, if it's Trotskyist to say that, then maybe you need an audience with the mad preacher to straighten you out.

The link has been removed - of course it's probably because it's highly offensive, but it could just as easily be the McCain camp getting queasy about what some people are saying in their name...
