Wadsworth has an equally chequered career. I remember him in the 80s splitting the Anti Racist Alliance by calling all whites racist and demanding black leadership. A government should aspire to keep her citizens happy. If there are indications that they are not happy, she should pledge to do more to allay their fears. Dismissing her citizens’ concerns is just plain rude.
