Greenpeace are running a campaign to get the Indian company Tata from stop building a port in the Indian state of Orissa.

Orissa is one of the planet’s last places where highly-endangered Olive Ridley Turtles nest en masse. If the Tatas build a port here, the turtles could disappear, taking an entire ecosystem along with them.

You can go to their website and send a pre-prepared letter to Tata imploring their company to relocate. Do a good deed for the day!

Sunny what about the people of the state and the jobs this could provide for them? You and me both know most people can’t afford to commute to a different state to work every day.

Greenpeace is an organisation run by white gap year students, who actually have nothing to do but smoke dope in spare time/ an year to waste or get into matters like these. I think whoever there dopey C E O is should concentrate on crime against envoirnment committed by FIRST WORLD countries/ WEST – where these white dudes are from. 80% pollution is done by the DEVELOPED countries, they are killing just not the turtles but EVERYONE…………….. so stay out of INDIA greenpeace, let come to a developed status and then come, because 80% of indians wont know what greenpeace is?????????
