Earthquake in england. Not the type of thing we expect! I’v never experienced an earthquake (dont want to either)….must bring a person closer to the mighty power of mother nature.

I felt it at around 1:00AM precisely as I got into bed. The windows made some noise, and I also did not know what was going on, and felt a tad disoriented. Made a mental note to check the news the next day.

I felt this in London and so did my brother! At first I thought it was my cat sitting on my bed purring, but my bed shook badly for about 5 minutes! Mum thought we were both mad, she didn’t feel a thing!

OMG i was watching friends and in bed and the house started to shake violently! and a man near my was rushed into hospital aswell bcos his chimney caved in on him whilst he was sleeping :S i jumped out of bed and fan inbetween the door frame lol

I felt it in Birmingham. It was actually pretty strong and I’m from Los Angeles saying this. I never thought I’d feel an earth qauke in this country. Another reason to take my ass back home.

Sunny probably lost a few more hairs over this. What a lil girl. Ha!

Anyway, I woke with a start last night and I definitely felt the bed shake, but I was in that half-awake state where you aren’t quite sure if you’re dreaming, so I just went back to sleep. AND NO THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE IN THE BED.

sat on pc at 12.58 this morn whole house shook,thought there was train going past house even tho i dont live next to a train line took me couple secs to realise that i didnt lol

Bah – didn’t feel anything in West London, and this in a house with shallow foundations where the bathwater makes interesting ripples if a freight train goes past. I slept through the Roermond quake in 1992 as well though.
