Reminds me of the story the Sun ran a few years back claiming that a Muslim shopper at my local Tesco store had complained and caused a scene because the carrier bags had a picture of a pig on them.

I asked on of the staff there if it was true and she said “Well it must be if it was in the papers”. None of her colleagues knew anything about it but it must be true if it was in the papers.

Clause 12 (Discrimination) and Clause 1 (Accuracy), it is unfounded racial discrimination against muslims. It is not true one single bit as it has been said by http://www.mediawatchwatch.org.uk/?p=290 . If anything it is the duty of the press complaints commission not only to bring action against the Express but also to ensure the truth is told. What is quite worrying about this is the fact that this was on the front page, and not inside the paper, therefore anyone who was looking to purchase a newspaper would have seen this headline.

I hope that I shall be informed of the decision that the commission takes over this particular issue of unfounded racial hatered by a national broadsheet newspaper.

Silly me. America didn’t bomb any city in Iraq. They just targetted a few army bases and secret nuclear plants (accurately, because they knew someone who helped them make them). Like you say, they spared civilian lives. The 100,000 civilians that died in friendly fire, well, it was friendly.

Much better for them than that horrid little saddam who is being charged for killing a couple of hundred people in 1982 (has it occured to you why he isn’t being charged with anything since? could it be because every warmongering monstrosity has america’s fingerprints all over it?)
