    Former Member of the Israeli Knesset where she was Deputy Speaker. Currently, Head of the School of Government and Society at the Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Yaffo. Co-founder of the International Women’s Commission for an Israeli-Palestinian Peace.

    Professor Anoush Ehteshami
    Born in Tehran, Dr Ehteshami is Professor of International Relations at Durham University. He is a member of the university’s Centre for Iranian Studies and Special Advisor to the Centre’s Islamic Criminal Justice Project. Author of numerous publications on Iran, Islam and the Middle East.

    Foreign editor of ‘The Economist’. Author of an acclaimed in-depth report on Iran in the 21 July 2007 edition, following an extended visit to the country earlier this year.

      I don’t mean to be flippant, but Israel…?

      It seems to me that the USA is aleady considering the illuminated parking lot and the words they have to say to justify it. These are the dog days of a dead President. What has he to lose?

      think it will happen because israel will not tolerate any neighbouring nuclear powers which will tilt the balance of power in the region, hence the attack on iraqs facilities in 1981.
      war will happen because there is a build up of extremes, on either sidde of the fence.
      Unfortunately any major me conflict is likely to pull the rest of the world in and the involvement of nukes is worrying to say the least
