i may be being unfair. perhaps i should be being cynical instead – perhaps open source politics is code for “everyone should listen to bloggers, advertise on their blogs and give them whopping piles of cash to appear in the mainstream media”.

oh, i see. it basically means, “the louder you shout, the more of a say you get”? and, presumably, people can still misrepresent you as a leftie or right-winger or something if it suits them. doesn’t sound like a paradigm shift if the people doing the shouting are still thinking in terms of politics 1.0.

its open source when you have no power and stress how great it would be if everybody got involved and did waht you wanted, do something random yourself and hope for the best.
