Merciful Jesus It’s The Weekend
Hello,
God what a pig of a week. I’ve been shouted at by a pre-op transsexual, abused by a fellow with no teeth who reckons ‘it’s my fucking country’ and bitched at by old birds.
On the plus side I’ve read several fine books on the bus, one of my clients was granted asylum, somewhere a guitar is twanging saucily and George Formby is great. So it could be worse.
I’m meeting up with the top boys of the Idlers Guild this week -it’s not too late to join us. Otherwise let me know your weekend plans, your idea of a perfect weekend, what you think of mice, the best way to eat chickpeas and anything else you fancy.
I’m going to go out on a limb this week. I will allow a little bit of politics provided it’s satirical but serious stuff is still banned. I for one have no intention of being made to feel guilty over my weetabix.

Why should Diana Spencer be remembered and Dodi forgotten? Dodi did a lot of good work for the British film industry. He was a film producer and gave the world Chariots of Fire.
For that reason alone he deserves a facebook group.
I wasn’t arguing he shouldn’t be remembered, merely asking a question. I suspect the reason Diana gets the attention is because she was more famous and was generally well liked.

I am literally jumping with excitement and was cracking up helplessly at a couple of the scenes coming up in series 6, tell me what you think.
Any Sopranos fans? The final half of the final series just started on E4 but I already downloaded and watched it to the end. Greatest TV show ever. Each episode is a masterpiece of writing and acting and directing.
I’m Sopranoed out to be honest. Used to be a fanatic, watching it on dvd maybe 3/4 times a week. But haven’t seen it for a while even though I’ve episodes in hand. I don’t know what happened to the nephew’s super-hot girlfriend after she got the FBI on her back and engaged. Assume she got whacked.
I just can’t see why women find an aggressive Latin middle-aged alpha male sooo attractive.

I have never watched an episode of Sopranos, though I was curious about what she looked like based on your description.

No spoilers, please. Been huge fan since episode 1. I try not to watch too many back to back though, as it induces a tendency to address the boss as, ‘C’mere, ya fat fuck.’
“Two and a Half Men” on the Paramount Channel, Mondays at 9pm. Stars Charlie Sheen and one of the guys who was in the Hot Shots movies with him.
Not really suitable for kids (ironic, considering one of the main characters is a 12 year old), and quite outrageously badmaash blokey humour.
