Sunrise Radio is crap too.

A Sikh politician from Southall who was a member of the Labour Party last month is still a member. Mr. Singh, 57, allegedly defended his controversal decision not to defect to the Tories.

However, we must remind our readers that this rumour is as yet unconfirmed.

Sunny Hundal was asked for his opinion on the matter:

“It is a clear blow for the Labour Party”, said Sunny, “as their plan to get all their councillors to leave has now been derailed.”

Errrm, it now appears that Comrade Lit, as he then was, actually handed over the cheque. Still, you can’t expect every MD of a business this size to be aware that a cheque made out to the Labour Party is actually a political donation… unless they are as thick as a brick, that is.

One minute he’s a Labour donor, the next he’s standing for the Tories. Stop making a pillock of yourself, and concentrate on the real question: why is this allegiance-switching pancake being allowed stand for your party?

2. What Lit knew or didn’t know about the cheque is irrelevant – as a director of Sunrise Radio he is still as responsible for the cheque as any other director.

Also odd are the “Vote Lit” banners that still persist over this blog. One of the foibles of internet advertising is that you can’t really pull the ad if your message is at odds with the editorial.

It does represent a rather amusing twist in the advertiser/client relationship. I wonder how many other people are wishing they could advertise a product and remain editorially in control?

Anyway, back to the increasingly hilarious by election…am I alone in thinking the last few weeks would make a great tv show (think In The Thick Of It)?!
