I think a white person complaining about white people treating non-white people badly sounds a lot more effective than a non-white person making the same complaint.

Similar points apply to anyone critizing a group they are a part of – blacks criticizing blacks, Asians criticizing Asians etc.

So the “brown people complaining about the BNP” may be perfectly sensible in not doing anything. The BNPs critics gain much if they are clearly all people who would not personally lose – and might benefit – from the BNPs triumph.

I was and still a bit confused as to whether to use the word Asians or Indians. I have encountered and Indian person who did not want to to be referred to as Asian because it was too broad including Chinese
etc.

Also does it confuse the term with Native American Indians but heck I remember now they are not Indians are they but Injuns!

I once thought black was a harsh term but if that’s how they want to be referred fine by me.

in response to some of the earlier posts. Yes I was shocked to encounter racism amongst Asians or should it be Indians? However there were also many Asians who would pull them up about it. As well I have seen just as many black people pull other black people up for say playing the race card.
