I'm starting to have mixed feelings about this one, my initial thoughts were oh god not more attack ads. After reading this (about the outing of the author) I can't help but think there might be something to the citizen journalism side of things:

Now it appears the creator of the video has been identified as Phil de Vellis, who worked for a firm connected with the Obama campaign., Blue State Digital. He worked alone on the project, but resigned as soon as he learned he was about to be named.

"This ad was not the first citizen ad, and it will not be the last,'' he wrote. "The game has changed.'' Link

Brilliant mash-up! still eerily hypnotic.
A technological sign of things to come? I think so...
How depressing to see the amateur doppelganger 'Vote Hillary' clone doing the rounds over the virals...I guess that's another sign of things to come...banal, uninspired, repeat counterblow avengement from sore losers.

...and on the subject of mash-ups, how long before we see one with Tony Blair being interrogated by anti-war protestors, law makers, Iraqi citizens, weapons inspectors, military families....only to cut back and see his reply (close-up) in an identical, monotone adage on endless loop...."I ain't bovvered.....look at my face....I AIN'T BOVVERED"

Damn! I need to get my Avid back and cut this thing
together myself!

Derivative crap. What was the pop song that originally used this theme?
As for Hilary, can’t see any advance on old blow job liking hubby. We love you all, but we have to ensure that we maintain our relatively high standard of living. Corruption, how dare you we are democrats.

That’s why they have to have terms limits, otherwise Andrew Jackson or somebody would still be in office.

Actually, the 22nd Amendment was only brought into force post FDR.

The fact that in the US, the contender against a sitting president is chosen by a competitive election explains why the sitting president almost always wins.

I was once told by a military friend in South Africa that an army without discipline was nothing and I'm afraid to say that's what I think about this rather clever but ultimately crude attempt of sticking in the political knife. Ad's ilke this are straight up dangerous because they are outside the remit and control of those who have most to gain or loose, the politicans themselves, and a politican that can't control or impose discipline upon his (or her) supporters really isn't saying much in terms of their leadership or the lack thereof. The supporters of Obama, would do well to remember that Hilary Clinton is not the real prize. That belongs to the war-mongering Bush who is yet to be kicked out of the White House.

Sunny,

Totally off topic.

Heads up, really. It is the considered opinion of many posters on CiF that pleasestopthat is a comic, not to be taken seriously.

Personally I thought his idea, it's got to be a he, surely:

"When the energy leaves the brain and the rest of the body, the man becomes weak. Naturally. His brain and body are operating at low efficiency because most of his energy is in his genitals." was hilarious.....

As was the riposte by LouSeefer:

"This was a well written article but I had trouble focusing on it as the picture of Reem made my brain and body operate at low efficiency because most of my energy was in my genitals."

And Anthropics comment:

"LouSeefer

Gosh how romantic :-)"

Sometimes, I love CiF.

Wow! I expect fire will be met with fire. The risk here, from the candidates POV is that they get associated with stuff they don't agree with. But, as the Indy says, it sure is different. This could be fun with a capital F.

It's interesting how relevant 1984 seems to be these days. I didn't realise it had made such an impact on America.
